Lamb and Calf Day

Lamb and Calf Day was a wonderful day at Ashhurst School. The children in Room 12 created some fabulous artwork and flower saucers to display. We also created some fabulous garden ornaments as part of our home project. The children were very creative and some of the ornaments they made included bird feeders, painted rocks, pine cone animals and wind chimes.

We watched the judging of the lambs. We met Logan's lamb called Rocky. We think Logan is very clever getting his lamb ready for judging. We know that it is a lot of work. Well done Logan.

WElcome To Term 4!

We are back online! We have had a happy and busy start to Term 4 and the past two have flown by. We have been preparing for Lamb and Calf Day which will be held on Wednesday 27th October. We have been creating some wonderful pieces of artwork to share with our families.

We have also started our music lessons with Mr Jones. On Monday we listened to music, played instruments, marched and danced to music. We are looking forward to our next lesson after Labour Weekend.

We are lucky to have Miss Mandolla in Room 12 for five weeks. Pop in and meet her if you haven't already.

Don't forget to leave some comments on our blog. We love to share these at school.

Getting Firewise

On Wednesday to volunteer firefighters talked to us about getting firewise. Please share the Getting Firewise DVD with your child. You will find it in the back of their firewise activity book. Thank you for taking some time to talk to your children about the things your family does to make sure fires don't start at home.
