On Thursday Rooms 11 and 12 went on a bug hunt. We wanted to discover the minibeasts that lived in the bush and what their habitat was like. We had lots of super mums and dads to help us with our investigation. Thank You!
Back at school we talked about and grouped the minibeasts we found. We made a list of things we were wondering about. I wonder what is living in here? I wonder how spiders make their webs? Pop into class to learn about our discoveries!
Lots of the children from Room 12 attended an Anzac Parade on Sunday. Back at school on Monday we shared the story about Private Simpson and his Donkey named Duffy. This brave man walked miles each day to rescue injured soldiers. They were carried on the donkey's back to the medical area on the beach.
This week we have been talking about living and non-living things. We used a graphic organiser to help us sort our ideas. We know that living things need food, water, air and light to stay alive.
