  • a skeleton is made from bones
  • the bones are joined
  • the bones hold us up
  • the bones help us to move
  • the rib cage protects the heart and lungs
  • the skull protects the brain, eyes and ears
  • bones are hard
  • bones are strong
  • bones can break
