Getting Firewise

On Wednesday to volunteer firefighters talked to us about getting firewise. Please share the Getting Firewise DVD with your child. You will find it in the back of their firewise activity book. Thank you for taking some time to talk to your children about the things your family does to make sure fires don't start at home.

Our Most Amazing Machine

We have had a great start to Term 3. We are all excited about our new inquiry topic.
We will be discovering what our body is made up of and what it can do.

We have already started to wonder and make discoveries about how our body works. We think it is an absolutely amazing machine!

We would love you to join us on our learning journey.

Our Visit to Mt Bruce

We had a fantastic day visiting Mt Bruce Wildlife Centre. The day was packed with wonderful learning opportunities and many highlights. We loved viewing the Takahe and Kakariki. We fed the ducks and the huge hungry eels. The Kaka feeding time was amazing. We watched the Kaka busily swoop in and out collecting their food which was made up of corn, fruit, porridge, dates and cheese. One of our dads took some wonderful photos. Enjoy our slideshow.
